Describing Adults with ADHD

Here's how many adults with ADHD describe themselves.

(Do any ring true for you?)

  •  I've often felt that I'm not living up to my potential.

  • I lose things all the time!  My keys, my glasses, even my car in the parking lot!

  • I have so many ideas, I don't know where to start. I get really excited about them, feel overwhelmed and end up doing nothing.

  • It's hard for me to let go of things mentally; I tend to ruminate about them over and over, my mind spins.

  • I have difficulty listening to others without getting distracted or interrupting.

  • I am often impulsive and take big risks.

  • Even when I know what I'm supposed to do, I often cannot actually do it.

If any of those comments sounds like you, and if you yearn to envision new possibilities for the future:
